My name is Nuala Collins, I am the owner and founder of Glow Skincare & Wax!

I’m so excited you are here and allowing me to share with you the journey that has lead me to doing what I love most, skincare!

I was born and raised in the Seattle area and continue to live here with my husband and two daughters. I love the Pacific Northwest and am so grateful to have raised my girls here. 

In my early 20s I developed adult acne and struggled for years to find a solution. I tried nutrition, elimination diets, and countless skin care regimens with no solid solution. This spurred my interest in skincare, and ultimately lead me to pursue an education in Esthetics.

Around this time, I was pursuing a degree in Business Management that lead me to work for the University of Washington in Education Outreach. There, I worked to bring science programs to local elementary and middle schools, sparking my interest in science, education, and community service. My work with UW Outreach Education ended with the birth of my second daughter, but I maintained my interest in science and education. 

With the support of my family,  I was able to foster my love for learning and my interest in Esthetics. A focus of my training was traveling to industry events throughout the US where I was able to learn from some of the leading educators in esthetics and train on several skin care systems and technologies. I realized this was exactly the work I should be doing! 

I started my career working for a Med Spa, but after three years I decided to take the leap and open my own business. I knew it was time to make my dream of supporting people in their own path of skin wellness and, in 2019, I used everything I had learned to open Glow Skincare & Wax.
